Зважаючи на підвищену небезпеку виникнення лісових пожеж внаслідок військових дій Всеукраїнська екологічна ліга реалізовує пілотний проєкт «Створення громадської системи протипожежного захисту лісів в Україні» за сприяння та підтримки Міжнародної програми Лісової служби США (U.S. Forest Service International Programs).

Якщо у Вашому населеному пункті ще немає підрозділу добровільної пожежної охорони, його має утворити орган місцевого самоврядування. Коли громада проголосує та ухвалить рішення про добровільний пожежний підрозділ, для його утворення знадобляться:

– пожежний автомобіль (пожежна автоцистерна або інша пристосована для цілей пожежогасіння техніка) – громада може купити самостійно або отримати надлишкову техніку в ДСНС;

– спеціальний одяг – купується за кошти громади, але зараз можливі й інші варіанти залучення коштів. Наприклад, у громадах, що є партнерами проєкту «Створення добровільної пожежної охорони в Україні» в рамках Міжнародної програми Лісової служби США (U.S. Forest Service International Programs) члени добровільних пожежних громад безоплатно отримають захисний одяг та інше обладнання для реагування на надзвичайні ситуації;

– кошти на утримання добровільної пожежної охорони – витрати на утримання самого депо й оплата комунальних послуг;

– команда з мотивованих місцевих жителів, готових пройти навчання та взяти на себе додаткові обов’язки.

How to create a fire and rescue units of the voluntary fire service in a settlement

 

Given the increased risk of forest fires as a result of military operations, the All-Ukrainian Environmental League is implementing a pilot project "Creation of a public system of fire protection of forests in Ukraine" with the assistance and support of the U.S. Forest Service International Programs.

If your community does not yet have a voluntary fire protection unit, it should be established by the local government. When the community votes and decides to establish a voluntary fire department, it will need

- a fire truck (fire tanker or other equipment adapted for firefighting purposes)

- the community can buy it on its own or receive surplus equipment from the SES;

- special clothing - purchased at the expense of the community, but other options for raising funds are now possible. For example, in communities that are partners of the U.S. Forest Service International Programs project "Creation of a public system of fire protection of forests in Ukraine" members of volunteer firefighting communities will receive protective clothing and other emergency response equipment free of charge;

- funds for the maintenance of the volunteer fire department - the cost of maintaining the depot itself and paying for utilities;

- a team of motivated local residents who are ready to be trained and take on additional responsibilities.
